Not the best singer.....not the best guitar player.....but by far the most successful musician that came out of Detroit. Sitting on 100 million dollars and still touring with the Eagles. I guess it,s true. Go west young man. It sure payed off for Frey.

We were friends in high school, I knew then you would be a star. I heard you say at your last concert at the Palace you thank God every day you were born in Detroit. I thank God every day I had friends like you growing up in Royal Oak. What a great time to grow up in the sixties. We had a lot of fun. Thanks for all the great music Glenn. Rest in peace my friend.
