Happy New Year!!!
Posted: Sat Dec 31, 2011 1:49 pmTo all the former members of SRC and to all the incredibly talented and gifted people who visit this site, and to the ever faithful fans of SRC, I'd like to wish you all a very Happy New Year!!!
I'm looking forward to some good Rock N' Roll adventures in 2012. Gary Quackenbush is still out there rockin' and I played with Gary and the Detroit All Star Band on December 23rd at the original Mario's on Second in Detroit. It was a last minute gig thrown together and we shared the stage with The Seat Belts. We played a set of mostly SRC material - I'm So Glad, Get The Picture, Checkmate, No Secret Destination, Up All Night, Black Sheep, and closed our set with a rockin' rendition of Bolero! (We threw in some other classics like "Hideaway, Tupelo Honey, and John Lennon's Yes This Is Christmas"). A good time was had by all.
