Every 4th of July for about four years, Souhfield High School would have a music fair. They would cover the tennis court with a big circus tent and built a big stage. Most of the bands were local Detroit bands. Seger..underdogs...Rationals..Thyme...Jagged edge....Musrooms....Third Power....Frigid Pink...only to name a few.. In the 1967 fair, SRC record I,m so Glad was on the Keener Music Guide at number 9 and moving up. For some reason SRC would always close the show and bring the house down. There was not a band more popular in 67 than SRC in Detroit. Nobody!
