HOW DID YOU GET YOUR SUSTAIN ON "MILESTONES" ?

Hi Gary,

I've been a hugh SRC fan 'since the albums were released!! I grew-up just 'down the road' from you, and the impact the SRC albums (particularly 'Milestones') had on the area musicians/bands was practically like a re-release of "Meet the Beatles" -- such an original sound no one had heard before . . . !!

I've often wondered about how you got your tone and, especially, the sustain on (particularly) on the 'Milestones' lp ?! I read you responce to Enaitz in 2012, and wondered if you used the same set-up as you did on the first album? Any equipment changes -- did you use a different set-up depending on the song? I love those long, sustained notes throughout many of the 'Milestones' songs ("No Secret Destination" and "Eye of the Storm", to name two) -- how did you get that 'singing' tone/sustain ?!

Thanks for any/all feedback, and for all the great music I still enjoy today . . . !!
